At Black Forge Art - we design and manufacture bespoke weathervanes, signs, traditional iron forge work and metal artwork. We specialise in one-off commissions, heavy duty weathervanes, large weathervanes, reproduction weathervanes and the restoration of historical weathervanes. All our Black Forge Art weathervanes are traditionally forged and fabricated from solid wrought iron in our old forge deep in the heart of rural Kent in the UK by renowned master blacksmith and creator of thousands of weathervanes over a quarter of a century, Rod Fender.
Detailed description:
Our signs are similarly bespoke and heavy duty and can be used as house signs, farm signs, stables signs, business signs and village signs. Designs can also be incorporated into our traditionally hot forged ironwork such as gates, railings and garden structures and all work is individually designed and hand made in our own forge to your specific requirements. We take pride in the quality of our work and all one off commissions are discretely signed by our founder and designer, Rod Fender.
Rod, founder of the Designer Manufacturer Association and long standing member of the British Artist Blacksmiths association, takes great pride in his signs which are individually hand made by him to an unsurpassed standard of construction, artistry and attention to detail. Our traditional forge and skilled blacksmiths specialise in one-off designs and commissions where all work is carried out to the highest standards.
From large double entrance gates to small garden gates, railings, and all garden structures, we offer a full, design, manufacture and installation service. Our initial free advice, ideas, preliminary designs and price estimates can be followed by on-site visits to define your personal requirements.
