Short profile:
Our main aim is to help improve standards of Health and Safety and the Environment at work. We have a programme of monthly meetings and a staffed office and resources centre. We are also involved in promoting health and safety 'behind the scenes' including give advice particularly to smaller organisations and working with the HSE and other enforcing organisations.
Detailed description:
The Resource and Safety Information Centre gives our members a quality advice service. It has: A well stocked collection of HSE leaflets, Guidance and Approved Codes of Practice. A library of videos which you can borrow. Literature from members showing examples of how to tackle common problems. A computer and answer-phone/ fax system so we can give you better answers more quickly!
