Short profile:
A varied range of activities are available to students of all abilities. All students receive a booklet at the start of each year, outlining what is available.
· Homework support clubs are open twice a week for KS3 students.
· There are extra learning sessions in all departments for KS4 students.
· There is a STEM club which meets weekly.
· The school actively support Science Week and European Day of Languages.
· A wide range of sporting activities are available.
· There are extra curricular food clubs.
· The school supports the BIG Challenge to promote Enterprise.
· There is a Drama Club and for the past two years there has been a Drama Production.
· The school supports its International Link through a “Birley’s Got Talent” show.
· There is a Music performance once a year.
· A wide range of Educational Visits are available.
