Biddlestone Health Group in Heaton provides the highest quality healthcare to patients in the Newcastle area All women between the ages of 25 and 64 years should have a cervical smear every 3 years, unless advised otherwise. Please ask the doctor or nurse if you are not already on our recall system. This test is usually performed by the practice nurse. The relevant patients will be recalled every 3 years for ages 25-49 and 5 years for 50-60 tear olds.
