The BIC's impressive main auditorium is the WINDSOR HALL - the showpiece of the venue. Spacious and versatile its superb facilities are designed to meet the needs of the most discerning visitor or event planner. As our largest hall, its flexibility allows for almost any event - large rock or pop concerts, major political party conventions, trade/public exhibitions, banquets, and sporting events ranging from Darts to Dance Championships, and Harlem Globetrotters Basketball to Ice Skating. With a mix of flat-floor and tiered seating to balcony level, on a fully motorised, retractable unit, the hall can be configured to specific capacities and client requirements, including the portable 'Roll and Set' SICO stage for all types of presentations. For your exhibition, the seating can be cleared to provide ample space on both the main floor and the balcony. Direct Access is also provided for large vehicles and the granwood floor will withstand loads of 1020 kg/m2. The hall's versatility is further enhanced by easy access to licensed bars and dressing rooms and by direct links with the neighbouring Solent, Tregonwell and Purbeck Halls at ground and first floor levels.

The BIC's newest auditorium is the SOLENT HALL which was completed as part of the recent major redevelopment. It is a custom designed space with direct exterior access and views over Bournemouth Bay. Flexible enough to be configured for staged shows/presentations, exhibition, conference or banquet it adjoins two separate bar/cafe areas at ground and first floor levels. With its natural light and mix of retractable tiered and loose seating, granwood floor, air conditioning and a high specification sound and lighting grid, the Solent Hall provides an ideal, flexible solution to your event needs. As it adjoins the main Windsor Hall at ground level and has its own designated office/dressing room areas, linked events are easy to arrange.
