BEXHILL PRIMARY SCHOOL

This includes French at KS2. In addition to this, children enjoy a wide range of extra-curricular clubs throughout their time at Bexhill. There are regular opportunities for community singing and music-making in assembly; choir, ocarina, recorder, guitar and brass are taught. Our choir has reached the finals of the City Sings competition, performing in Sunderland Empire twice. Pupils engage in spiritual activities through an excellent RE syllabus, which encourages them to think thoughtfully about the beliefs and lifestyles of other races and religions.

There are many sporting and athletics opportunities – football, netball, rugby, swimming, hockey, keep fit, dance, gymnastics and games clubs run after school at times throughout the year. There are also French, computer, drama, art and craft and homework clubs. Educational outings are made to interesting venues, including theatres, museums, historical sites and ‘the great outdoors’! Towards the end of Y6, a residential trip to the Lake District is a highlight.

Visitors to the school, include theatre groups, ‘experts’, musicians, ethnic minorities and other children.
