Humberside as a force covers the districts of North-East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, and the East Riding of Yorkshire, along with the urban area of Kingston-upon-Hull.
There are four Basic Command Units (BCUs) or Divisions, which are almost coterminous with the district councils of North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.The Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships (CDRPs) created following the introduction of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 also mirror these boundaries.The Divisions consist of dedicated teams of community officers based at Neighbourhood Policing Team buildings situated throughout each area and clustered response teams and investigation teams.Humberside Police employs 2, 032 police officers, 1, 847 police staff, 321 Police Community Support Officers and 341 special constables (head count strength, as of 30 September 2010).The staff are accommodated across the Force area to ensure that a safer tomorrow is delivered toda
