Best Western Clifton Hotel is the perfect venue for the business conferences or a relaxing break. Ideally situated for those wishing to explore Kent and many other places of interest. Or visit France via the Channel Tunnel (only minutes away) or ferry from Dover.
All 80 bedrooms have sea views with private bathroom/shower en-suite, are very comfortably furnished (a number have King/Queen size beds), colour TV, radio, data points, direct dial telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. The Garden Restaurant is the ideal venue for a leisurely meal with a choice of menus, which are complemented by fine wines.
Relax and unwind in the Lease Lounge, overlooking the English Channel, or in Summer on the Terrace, where you can enjoy a light snack or refreshments.

The south-facing lounge directly overlooks The Leas and the English Channel and is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a light snack or refreshments.
The Clifton Bar overlooks the sun terrace with its flower-filled boxes providing a warm and friendly atmosphere where one can enjoy a drink from our renowned choice of cask-conditioned draught ales. One can also choose from the varied selection of hot and cold snacks.
Additional facilities include the Games Room, lifts and the 24-hour porterage service.
The hotel provides excellent facilities for wedding receptions, private luncheons or dinner parties, and can offer the perfect venue for parties of 6 to 100 persons.
A choice of five seperate function rooms are available, some interconnecting. All offer natural lighting and tastful decor. Spectacular views of the hotel’s private two acre garden provide a tranquil setting for any special event.
Luncheon, dinner or afternoon tea can be served as either a buffet or served at the table. A wide selection of menus are available, and the Banqueting Team would be pleased to discuss your particular needs.
The comfortably furnished restaurant overlooks the adjoining garden and is the ideal venue for a leisurely luncheon or dinner. A choice of seasonal menus are complimented by fine wines. Children are catered for with their own menu, or they can choose from the main menu. At certain times of the year our resident pianist provides the background music during dinner for your enjoyment.

jane 27It is one of the best hotel, with qualified staff, rooms are clean and spacious,a beautiful area, ideal for leisure and relaxation .. I know the area very well and go with pleasure whenever I have the chance!
