This Edinburgh hotel offers comfortable, spacious accommodation overlooking a park, close to Edinburgh Castle and the city centre, an ideal base for business or pleasure.

Everything you might want while staying in the city is within easy reach. Theatres, shopping, galleries and city attractions are all within walking distance. If you are here on business, a five minute taxi ride will take you to the heart of the city, or the station from where the rest of Scotland and the UK is easily accessible. The airport and motorway network are also within easy reach.

    I recently spent a weekend in Edinburgh and stayed at the Bruntsfield Hotel. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom very clean and modern and the hotel had plenty of character. Our bed was very comfortable, generously sized, and we had no problems with noise despite our room overlooking the patio area.

    My only small complaint is that the room was too hot, but in fairness the weather was unusually warm at the time.

    All of the staff were veryb friendly, courteous and polite, qualities that seem to be lacking in too many hotels these days.

    Will return here next time I'm in Edinburgh.
