Josephine Curneen established a Hypnotherapy Clinic (BCHP) in 1998 in the historic town of Berkhamsted which is situated on the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire borders. Josephine continues to successfully provide Clinical Hypnosis, Hypno-Analysis, Hypnotic Psychotherapy, NLP, CBT, EFT and other Meridian Therapies to those suffering from behavioural, emotional, functional or psychological difficulties, including Stress Related Anxiety Disorders, Fears & Phobias, Smoking and Weight Management.

In November 2007, Berkhamsted Clinic of Hypnotherapy & Holistic Practices (previously Berkhamsted Clinical Hypnotherapy Practice) relocated and expanded to include, in addition to CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY, a wide range of complementary therapies. B.C.H.P. can now offer a complete holistic service from private Victorian consulting rooms in Berkhamsted High Street's conservation area.
The therapeutic effects of hypnosis are well known and the hypnotic interventions used at our clinic can, of course, stand alone to assist the alleviation of psychological problems and their associated emotional, behavioural and sometimes physical symptoms. However, positive change can often be achieved even faster when Clinical Hypnotherapy is amalgamated with other Complementary Therapies.
Berkhamsted Clinic of Hypnotherapy & Holistic Practices thereby offers a truly holistic approach designed to assist positive change and promote physical, emotional and behavioural well being. All the listed Complementary Therapies can stand alone as therapeutic interventions, or may be amalgamated to provide a bespoke 'Life Enhancing Programme', designed to meet the specific and very individual needs of each client.
