We now have modern equipment for moving and sawing the logs, although our roots go back to the days when logs were hauled into the yard by teams of horses and sawing took place over a saw-pit, operated by sawyers using a two-handled hand-saw The Bath Road site is one of the last remaining sawmills in the Bristol that is sawing homegrown hardwood and softwood. We stock a wide range of products for general building, fencing and landscaping, but we are specialists in timbers for structural beams used in projects such as new builds, restoration, and boat building, which are in constant demand and distributed all over the country.
