Located in Belsize Park, London NW3 we are between Swiss Cottage, Finchley Road and Belsize Park tube stations and offer free onsite parking. Michael H Smith is registered with the UK General Chiropractic Council and has 19 years experience as a chiropractor.

We offer a free spinal check which incorporates full Neurologic and Orthopaedic tests for an accurate diagnosis of the problem. We work with each patient to fully understand the cause(s) of their issues, to ensure correct treatment is put in place and create a tailoured rehabilitation plan with the aim of preventing recurrence of problems in future.

Common conditions presenting to NW3 Chiropractic: include Headaches, Lower back pain, Neck pain & stiffness, Rib pain & pain on inspiration (breathing in)

Sciatica – pain down the leg or through the buttock, Spinal pain, for joint and muscle problems, General loss of joint range of motion, Feelings of imbalance, Peripheral joint ailments – ankle, elbow, wrist. Also Pins & Needles, Numbness, Stiff or tight muscles and joints.

Some of these conditions may involve elements of nerve compression and boney misalignment. Additionally, tight ligaments and muscles can compress nerves and pull bones away from their neutral position. Therefore our treatments take into consideration all elements and usually commence with the least invasive approach.

Chiropractic treatment methods:

Our methods of treatment include various soft tissue techniques such as trigger point therapy, vibration therapy, massage as well as chiropractic adjustments of the spinal vertebrae and skeletal bones. Initially all patients undergo thorough neurological and orthopaedic examinations followed by treatment depending on their problem. Exercises are usually prescribed; specific to each individual’s condition and structure.

The duration and number of treatments required for resolution of complaints depends on the type of complaint and the response to treatment over time, by each particular patient.

    I had a chronic low back problem since falling down escalator a few years ago. It kept re-occurring until I went to NW3 Chiropractic in Belsize Park, near Hampstead and Swiss Cottage.

    I can recommend this chiropractor highly.
