If you are a victim or a witness to an incident involving violence, it is vital that you call the police. We will treat your call as a priority and will respond immediately if the incident is recent or if the offender is nearby.
Our first priority will be to deal with anyone who is a victim and ensure they are treated. It is important that you provide officers with full details of what you saw and any descriptions of those involved. We will take a written statement from you to help us identify and arrest the offender/s.
Should an offender be prosecuted we will ensure that adequate safeguards are in place to protect you if you are a victim or witness.
