The Lounge is welcoming, with an intimate and contemporary feel, leading through to our Conservatory Bistro which offers a constantly changing menu, reflecting the best currently available produce. Our award winning restaurant has held a 2 AA red rosette award for the past 11 years.
We have a choice of business meeting rooms with full facilities available, and a selection of bedrooms to suit individual needs. The Cathedral city of Durham is within easy travelling distance, and Tanfield Railway and the Causey Arch are within walking distance from the hotel. Adjacent to the hotel is our golf academy, including a 9 hole par 3 course, practice greens and bunkers and a 20 bay floodlit golf driving range. A full time PGA approved golf professional is available to give tuition at all levels.
