  • Local word speaking (accent)

Although mostly good LOCAL radio, it is let down by presenters word accent Southern i.e. Daarncer, praarnser, naarsty, and so on, if you want to employ southerners, please arrange for local word pronunciations, as DANCER not DAARNCER, NASTY not NAARSTY, and so on, we in the north use the short A not the long stretched A, within words AN not AAR is the way to pronounce the english language, the short hard A is the correct way to pronounce it, not the Southern way stretched AA as AARN prance not PRAARNCE.

Please train your southern born presenters how to speak correct english, to suit the North of Britain.
