With plenty of room both inside and outside for children and adults to explore, Baxby is set in unspoilt countryside on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and just a short walk from the village with its shop, pub and 12th century church. The farm's 110 acres of fields, hedgerows, lanes, woods, ponds and stream provide opportunities for wildlife watching, coarse fishing, walking or simply enjoying wonderful views.

Our holiday cottage is an ideal base for walking, cycling and touring North Yorkshire's countless attractions; within half an hour's drive of York, Harrogate, world of James Herriot at Thirsk, Castle Howard, Beningborough Hall, Byland and Rievaulx Abbey and many other National Trust sites. Built in 1308 and mentioned in the Doomsday Book, our most attractive North Yorkshire luxury holiday cottage is full of character with many original features, including inglenook fireplaces, oak beams and an authentic 16th century bread oven! Despite our rural North Yorkshire setting, the A1(M) is not too far away. So you will be able to reach Baxby Manor, and depart from it, without wasting vaulable time, even though you are most unlikely to ever want to leave.
