Battersea Day Nursery is a nurturing and stimulating place where children can learn and play, grow in confidence and discover new things. Children are in safe hands here, nurtured by a warm and welcoming team qualified up to degree level and dedicated to providing the very best care. Inside Battersea Day Nursery are four brightly decorated rooms with plenty of interactive resources, toys, games and activities to encourage development. Children can make their own choices about what they do and follow their own interests, fostering their individual personalities.
Detailed description:
Children learn through state-of-the-art ICT equipment, including an interactive whiteboard and a touch-screen computer. A CD Rom package provides the children with new and exciting ways to learn numeracy and literacy skills, both individually and in groups. Programmable toys, Bee-Bots, cameras and recording equipment engage the children in the world of technology, with metal detectors enhancing outdoor discovery. Further equipment includes a Light Box, which allows the children to explore shades, colour and the properties of light, while our torch set enables the children to set the scene when reading stories, or investigate different areas of the nursery.
