BATH MINERVA CHOIR

BATH MINERVA CHOIR

Updated more than 6 months ago

Short profile:

We are one of the leading choirs in the city of Bath, with well over one hundred members. We normally give three concerts a year, often in the beautiful setting of Bath Abbey, and mostly with professional orchestras and soloists.

Detailed description:

Under the inspiring direction of our conductor, Gavin Carr, we take on some challenging repertoire and set ourselves the highest standards of performance - recent concerts have included Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, an a capella programme of Rachmaninov and Tavener, and Vaughan Williams' Sea Symphony.

We welcome singers of all standards, making this an ideal choir to join if you are less confident or returning to choral singing after a long break, but the choir also offers great opportunities for the more experienced and confident singer.
