With a masters degree in Fine Art and over 40 years in the antiques trade, Ron Bateman is our senior partner and valuer at Batemans. His passions include fine paintings and prints, books, clocks, objects d'art and pre-18th century furniture as well as portrait miniatures and items of unusual architectural interest. A joint partner and valuer in the firm since 2001, Kate is probably the most widely recognised at Batemans due to her regular appearances as an on-screen expert for the popular BBC TV antiques programmes Flog it! and Bargain Hunt. Kate specialises in all things small: pottery and porcelain, jewellery, silver, objects d'art, militaria, stamps and coins
