Short profile:

The children at Bartley take part in an extensive range of activities in school.

A wide range of trips are offered including 3 residential trips which focus on History and  Outdoor Education.

In addition to the music ofered within the curriculum, approximately a quarter of the children learn a musical instrument in school through Hampshire Music's peripatetic service. Those who play an instrumnet have regular opportunities to perform in school either individually or through with the school's orchestra. Regular school productions and class assemblies provide  further opportunities for the performing arts.

In addition to the PE curriculum, many of the children represent the school in sporting activities against other local schools.

There are a wide range of lunchtime clubs available to the children including choir, 'green club' and Christian Union. In addition, the Year 6 children run a range of clubs for the younger children on a wide range of themes such as Dr Who and Scoobies!
