BARROW BOATING

As well as day boat hire we have a large selection of small boats available for hire by the hour. These include our Family Rowing Boats, Pedaloes, Canoes and our Hydrobikes. Which are the first in the UK. Complete stability and suitable for young and old. Speeds of up to 10mph have been achieved, how fast could you go? Good exercise, great fun. We run daily River aboard our trip boat 'Boomerang'. Why not book a birthday party for your child aboard our boat. Older children catered for on the small craft.

Our standard half hour trip goes upstream past riverside homes and gardens into the countryside and turns at the A6 bridge. We don't wait for a full boat so we will go whenever there is a demand. For those too young to go out on a boat on their own : our new mini quad bikes! These are operated in an inflatable barrier for your safety. Race a friend or see how quickly you can do a lap! For the very young we also have a two seater electric powered Hummer to drive around the same track. Enjoy a bite to eat or just relax with a cup of fresh ground coffee before your boat cruise at our Barrow Boating Riverside Café - We offer a select of refreshments such as freshly ground coffee, teas, ice cold drinks, ice creams, snacks. Our Café opens for breakfast, so why not come early and have a bacon buttie before your boat hire. Open daily in a beautiful, peaceful riverside setting.

At our boat yard we also have the facilities and specialist staff to repair and service boats. We undertake engine repairs and servicing to all inboard and outboard motors, welding, painting and general boat repairs. We also sell boats on brokerage. Contact us for our terms or for boats currently offered for sale. Moorings sometimes available in our small, friendly, flood free marina. From our base at Barrow upon Soar, we take up to 12 people on a boat to an Environment Agency approved location where you can scatter the ashes of your loved ones. We then return you to our base.
