fryguyWe used to love this place but it seems to have gone right down hill in recent years..
Firstly we went a few months ago and the water served with the meal was rank, it was obviously spoiled and nearly made me sick.
Then half way through the meal two of the waiters started fighting???!!!
The food is usually very nice so we decided to forget about the bad experience and book it out for my 30th birthday..
we offered to pay a £3 per head deposit for 25 people but the guy we spoke to on the phone said we didn't need to because we had been going to the resteraunt for over 10 years, then 3 days before the meal a very rude guy called Ash who said he was the manager phoned up and demanded we take in a £6 ph deposit in cash the next morning. After telling him we couldn't get over.. (we live over an hour away ) he told us to go and find somewhere else to have our meal... when I complained that he had basically ruined my birthday he told me to F*ck off.. great service there.. I don't think this guy was the manager as he obviously didn't care about the reputation of the place, but we will never eat there again and neither will the 25 guests who were all regulars in the place.
what a shame.
