The Ball and Wicket is a traditional village pub situated in the heart of the village of Upper Hale on the outskirts of Farnham in Surrey. The Ball and Wicket is one of the oldest public houses in the region, dating back over 100 years when it was originally called the Old Cricketer Inn.

Restaraunt Opening Times: Mon - Sat 12 noon - 2 p.m. 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday 12 noon - 4 p.m. Restaurant closed Sunday evenings.

The newly refurbished restaurant caters for up to sixty seats and offers a wide choice of delicious, home-cooked dishes, traditional Sunday Roasts, and an excellent list of wines to supplement our range of real ales.It is also ideal for small business conferences and meetings during the day Mon - Fri, and is available for private functions.

The Ball and Wicket specialises in REAL ALES, and boasts a micro brewery. The New Farnham Brewery is at the rear of the premises. Currently 3 ales are being brewed on site, Bishop Sumner 3.8% ABV, William Cobbett 4.5% ABV and Mike Hawthorn 5.3% ABV. There are lagers and periodic guest ales available for your tasting pleasure as well. The Ball and Wicket has four beautifully appointed letting rooms, consisting of three single rooms and one double room each room with en suite facilities, freeview television and wifi. The bedrooms are situated on the first floor of the pub and two of the single rooms look out onto the village green.
