  As a RICS surveyor of 27 years, I was most concerned at reading a property survey report written by the proprioter of Balance&Co. On further investigation it appears that neither Balance&Co or the proprioter, any employee or sub contractor is qualified in any way shape or form to prepare such a report. Furthermore, the reports prepared are poorly compiled and hugely inaccurate, with mis leading information that in the cases I have seen have not only confused perspective buyers/sellers but could have concluded in works being undertaken that were un neccessary. What in effect you are purchasing from Balance&Co is a over the top written estimiate of works, with some technical product wording thrown in, possible downloaded from the internet. I have seen one or two of these so called `surveys` and feel compelled to inform the general public not to purchase such reports, and have any works then carried out by this company overseen by a qualified surveyor or building control officer. From experience I can also reveal from photographs on Balance&Co`s website, that the workmanship is not to regulation, or to a good standard. The Corgi registration details are no longer valid, and it appears that the Electrical certifications/sign offs are not directly connected to the company. I have reported these findings to trading standards and would urge others to take caution in employing firms that are un qualified.
