BACON LANE SURGERY

Immunisation: Routine vaccinations usually start after these visits. Please book an appointment with the nurse preferably on the same day as the eight week check if there is availability in their clinic. NB: We ask mothers of all newly registered children under five to provide us with details of previous immunisations. Asthma Check All asthmatics should attend at least annually, even if well, to ensure they are using their devices correctly and their symptoms have not changed since their last prescription. Please book an appointment with Practice Nurse (Anna Furova/ Irene Murphy).

Diabetic Clinic Monitoring is important and is carried out at the surgery. All diabetics should attend at least annually and some will be advised by a doctor to attend more frequently. Please arrange to have your blood test at least two weeks before attending the clinic. If you are due for a diabetic check-up, please contact reception who will arrange the appointment for you.

All diabetics should also have their eyes checked annually. Minor Operations A doctor will refer you to this clinic for removal of small lumps and bumps. Clinics are held every few weeks and you will be contacted with a date and time. There is a waiting list.
