Having originally learnt to ride 20 years ago, and on needing to recently get back into exercise, I decided to try a lesson at B1st. It was an excellent experience with good staff who knew their stuff, who were encouraging, and who cared about my experience, and that of the horse too! It was nice to feel that I was a valued customer, even though it was my first visit, and I shall definitely be going back. The horses were certainly well cared for, very well groomed, and clearly very well looked after. I had visited a riding school in the area a few weeks ago, and I was disappointed. I have to say that B1st certainly lived up to my expectations, and it was great! Thank you to the B1st team - Natalie, Jude and the owner of Sally - apols, I'm dreadful on names!
Ive had a few lessons here which i have enjoyed but i cannot believe the state that the horses stables were in they are lying in there own filth and a few of them are underweight i just think they need a wake up call and tidy up a bit
hi i used to have hourly riding lessond at B 1st i rode mant horses there over the 2 years of going there but sally was my favorite and i fell of 2 times off a horse called sylivia and another one called tramp. i have had a few horses bolt of with me some of them were called sylivia, choclet, tramp and champ. the indoor and out door arenas are good because your lessons wont be cancled what ever the wether.
