Short profile:

The Tuesday league at Ash Manor School in Aldershot is coming to an end and there is a three way battle for the title in the Premiership, with Rodneys Rovers, ATFC and West Farnborough all in contention going into the final week of fixtures. In the Championship things are much more clear cut with new comers The Reds winning every game so far and they will put their 100% record on the line in the final match of the season, and will surely be looking to make an impact in the higher division with promotion already secured.

Detailed description:

The Winston Churchill league saw the Azzurri Fives Tuesday Elite League come its conclusion last week. Mul Gas finished as clear Champions after a final night demolition of AFC Cardinals 10-1, which saw them seal the winner’s trophies with 11 points between them and second place. The real drama was for who would finish in the much respected runners up spot, despite Winston Globetrotters efforts AFC Villa deservedly racked up one more point than their nearest rivals and will look to close the gap on Mul Gas next season.

The teams have a new challenge ahead. Can someone stop Mul Gas collecting the Winston Cup? A cup competition that will see three weeks of group stage fixtures followed by a fourth week finals night. Then 16th March will see both the Elite and Super league re-start with everyone striving to go into the summer as winners.

The Goldsworth Park Monday night leagues are continuing to excite. CSSO are continuing to impress with a close fort battle with title challengers Lucky Allstars, CSSO came out 4-3 winners. With games in hand both Lucky Allstars and Charlies Army are stating their claim for the converted Premiership Title. The Championship saw plenty of goals, Foxhills saw off Just Legends 8-6 and Team With No Name swept Blind Alley aside 6-2. O’Wala cemented their spot at the top with a convincing 5-1 win over Farley Rovers. League One also its fair share of goals with a total of 30 across 3 fixtures. KMW and Spirting Lisbon had the stand out fixture, one that finished with 13 goals, KWM coming out on top 8-5.
