Avalon is a Registered Charity and not-for-profit company. It was established in 1994 to recruit, train and support individuals and families who wish to offer care and support in the community for adults with learning disabilities. The organisation offers Adult placement with a Supported Living service, our Breakaway 2000 Holiday Scheme and a Sitting service.
We work with Older Adults, people experiencing Mental Health difficulties as well as physical/learning disabilities and vulnerable adults. Avalon is committed to providing a high quality, flexible service, which can support people with many different needs, and from different cultures.
With Head Offices in Harrogate, our service covers all North Yorkshire, City of York, Teesside, parts of West Yorkshire and Hartlepool and Cumbria.
