Mr ChapmanWhilst looking for Autowash's number today i have come across these reviews. I felt compelled to write my own review as i find them very inaccurate (obviously i cannot comment on Mr Boxalls anyone reading this mine)
I have used Autowash's services for over 20 years. I have always found every single member of staff to be courteous, helpful and very knowledgable. Their repair engineers are honest and give great advice and in my opinion £25 is a small fee to pay for such a good service.
I have had no problems with this company, and will continue to use them for many more years.
Even just before christmas they saved the day by finding an element to fit my ancient cooker. I was very impressed.

Steve BoxallDavid jones is not being accurate when leaving this comment, he is not the most pleasant person to deal with and I can understand why Autowash would not be able to assist him he is a rude and arrogant person as I know only to well

d jonesI bought a washing machine from this company 2 years ago and it has now prematurely died.
My wife went into their shop to ask for a engineer to call.
They sent out an engineer who told us the machine was hardly worth repairing. When we told him we had only had it two years and there are only 3 people in the house he was shocked.
We were then told there was a call out charge of £25. This was the first occasion we had been told about this.
We then went to their shop to complain and found the attitude of their general manager to be belligerent and very unhelpful.
We contacted consumer advice who told us that the washing machine was not fit for purpose as in the UK a life expectancy of 6 years is expected and the company at point of sale has a duty to put this right.
On the advice of the consumer protection we sent Autowash a letter requesting a response within two weeks. This was now two weeks ago and are still awaiting a response
