The Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB) is the largest representative body for Ukrainians and those of Ukrainian descent. It exists to develop, promote and support the interests of the Ukrainian community in the UK.
Currently, there are thriving Ukrainian community schools in several cities and towns in England. Teaching is normally on Saturday mornings, but some schools have classes for older children at other times. The schools cater for children from 6-7 years of age upwards, though some also have nursery classes for younger children.
For details, please contact the school direct. The Association of Ukrainian Women in Great Britain has some 700 members based in 20 branches.
These are located in the main in England with one outpost still operating in Scotland in Edinburgh.
