So what will your child be doing here? Laughing, chattering and making exciting discoveries. Splashing paint, dressing up for role play, snuggling with a book, making music or building a brick tower – then knocking it flat again. Children move freely around, choosing what they like to do best and making independent decisions. We have bright, airy rooms decorated with colourful displays and a lovely cosy and secure sleep room for babies. For older children there is creative and messy play, book and home corners and construction areas, and in our Pre-School Room we have communication, language and literacy areas in preparation for starting school.

Outside are sheltered decking and a tree-lined garden, with bikes for all ages, Astroturf, balancing beams, little picnic tables, soft play and wooden blocks. Digging, bug-hunting, hiding or chasing, this is the stuff of fun-filled days. For your peace of mind we take security very seriously with an electronic gate, front door buzzer and coded entry system. Access is possible only for those with permission, and all staff pass stringent CRB and reference checks.

Stay and Play sessions and two weeks of settling in ease the transition from home to nursery and we have a strong partnership with parents. Staff speak Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Hungarian, French, Punjabi, Albanian and Croatian. We work closely with Trafalgar Infant School to ensure children benefit from a smooth move up, and we provide wrap-around care for school children consisting of Breakfast and After School Clubs. Children are dropped off here, taken to school then collected later in the day by nursery staff.
