ASQUITH NURSERIES - SIDCUP

Our purpose-built nursery is conveniently situated in the David Lloyd Club, a mile from Sidcup rail station and half a mile from the motorway. There is a large car park. The building is on one level, so access is easy for wheelchair users and all children can move freely in and out of the garden. In four bright, clean, inviting rooms staff plan for individual children on a weekly basis and recognise that each child develops at their own rate. Our Baby Room has a sensory area, interest tables and comfortable sleep space, and we work with parents to meet each baby’s routine to our best ability. In the spacious Toddler Room and lively Nursery Room you’ll find children splodging paint, investigating water, making music, constructing a brick tower or cuddling up with a book.

In our busy Pre-School Room children make fascinating discoveries as they develop the skills they need to start school. A big advantage is being able to use excellent David Lloyd facilities such as the large sports hall, where children love to run around letting off lots of energy and excitement. Our lovely garden is surrounded by fields and trees. Digging, bug-hunting, whizzing about on trikes or clambering, it is a safe and attractive place to play. To make settling in as smooth as possible, we offer families a home visit where we learn about your routines, values and traditions.

Children see a familiar face when they arrive at nursery, and up to 8 weeks of free settling-in sessions can be flexible to suit the needs of you and your child. We believe in a strong partnership with parents and keep you informed through daily activity sheets, regular newsletters and parents’ evenings. Our in-house chef cooks three wholesome meals a day and caters for all dietary requirements.
