ASQUITH NURSERIES - PORT SOLENT

Our garden has climbing frames, large chalkboards and a brightly coloured safety surface. There’s sand and water play, an area for growing flowers and vegetables, plenty of messy play and a special baby area. Children are able to move freely between indoors and out, exploring, using their senses and revelling in exuberant physical activity. Just opposite the nursery is a spacious field where children can play and we make the most of a new nearby playground for lots of crawling, climbing and balancing. Security is paramount, so we have two coded entry systems, CCTV cameras on the front entrance and garden, strict procedures on collecting children and a no-mobile phones policy.

All staff must pass CRB and reference checks. We want you as parents as well as your child to feel comfortable during the transition from home to nursery so we offer flexible settling in with home visits and as many nursery visits as you want. Your child will have a key carer who will provide special attention and reassurance, creating a strong bond. At Port Solent Day Nursery we work in partnership with parents to deliver the care you want.

We have regular parents’ evenings, newsletters and an open-door policy that means there will always be a manager available to talk to you. We offer School Days care to tie in with older siblings, term-time places for parents who are teachers, and a crèche facility for David Lloyd members.
