Doors lead straight into the garden so children can choose whether they would like to play indoors or out, and our all-weather suits mean they can explore the outdoors come rain, snow or shine. Bikes, cars, bats and balls, large tyres for climbing, small trucks, skittles, a paddling pool and sun canopies provide endless opportunities for fun and discovery. Staff are qualified up to degree level and we have very low staff turnover so your child has the security of familiar faces and continuity. We pride ourselves on the length of service of most of our team – they have amazing knowledge and ideas between them! All staff must pass rigorous CRB and reference checks and their skills are updated with training throughout the year.

To smooth the transition from home to nursery we offer a minimum of three phasing-in sessions, allowing parents to spend time with the staff who will care for their child before they start at Kingswood Day Nursery. Our key-carer system means parents have a specific member of staff they and their child can bond with, so they can discuss their child's individual needs and progress with someone they are comfortable with. We work in partnership with families because the happiness of each child and their parents is always our main priority.

We will work hard to resolve any issues that may arise, and we hold Open Days and parents’ evenings. Our own cook prepares delicious nutritious meals and also caters for any special dietary requirements. We have a separate weaning menu for the baby room, so parents can introduce new foods to their child when they feel they are ready to do so.
