Children at this newly refurbished nursery opposite Hendon Central Tube Station are making the most of a wonderful outdoor area, homely atmosphere and some amazing ICT equipment. Because Asquith believes safety is paramount, we have installed biometric fingerprint door entry systems so only those who are authorised have access. Experienced staff encourage and nurture each child so their needs are met individually. The key carer system allows your child to build close bonds with staff, giving them the security to be themselves as they explore and progress.

Our manager for 10 years has a BA (Hons) in primary education and leads a committed team who understand the needs of children and parents alike. Her deputy and our cook have also been here 10 years ¬– evidence of the happiness and confidence that radiate as soon as you step through the door. So what will you child be doing at Hendon Day Nursery? The outdoor area is stunning, with gazebo, playhouse, giant sandpit, climbing frame, separate baby garden and a range of exciting equipment for physical fun. Children love the new ICT equipment, including an interactive whiteboard, touch-screen computer and laptop, all developing impressive skills and affording excellent opportunities for collaborative play and swapping ideas. A qualified teacher is on site to support their learning.
We are a warm and friendly nursery truly embracing the ethos of learning through play and ensuring children are happy and safe whilst in our care. Staff are always available for parents, with phones in every room and daily diaries to ensure communication flows. Parents are invited to start settling their child in 3-4 weeks before their start date. Because we know every family is different this is done on a personalised level to suit you and your child.
Regular newsletters will let you know what’s going on, but we really want you to feel part of your child’s nursery life – so we invite parents to get actively involved in children's activities and we welcome any help and support they are able to provide. Hendon Day Nursery is a buzzing, cosmopolitan environment. Staff speak Italian, Hungarian, Romanian, Hindi, Arabic, French and Punjabi. Vegetarian and kosher meals are available and all dietary needs can be catered for.
