Our key-person system ensures continuity of care and promotes positive relationships with both children and parents. Edinburgh Day Nursery is based within the David Lloyd Club at Gyle Park, Glasgow Road. It is ideally located close to the M8, city bypass, Haymarket station, Edinburgh airport and five minutes from Edinburgh Business Park. Children can move freely through each of our rooms and the garden throughout the day. The cosy baby area is full of stimulating sensory experiences.

Our large toddler area stimulates curiosity and lets our early walkers develop their physical skills safely, while our nursery area encourages self-help skills and toilet training. Splashing paint, building towers, making puzzles or snuggling up with a book, children have a whale of a time. Three pre-school rooms promote enthusiastic learning as they prepare children for school. Our reputation is so high that local schools recommend us because of the impressive assessment grades achieved here.

Children love role-play, our mathematics and science areas, the cosy story area, recycling centre, art station, construction area, music area and computer area. Outdoors you’ll find them clambering about the climbing frame, riding on toys, zooming down the slides, filling the compost bin and growing herbs, flowers, fruit and vegetables. On sunny days painting and books go outside too. We also offer outings in the local area and swimming at the David Lloyd Club.
