Short profile:

We operate a broad, rich curriculum where pupils have the opportunity to learn and discover in many different ways:

We take part in a variety of day trips, and theatre groups visit the school

Pupils in Y6 have the chance to go on a residential trip to the Isle of Wight

A large number of pupils learn a musical instrument and we have a school choir who sing in the local community, and a recorder club

Sport plays a large part in the life of our school and we take part in football and netball tournaments, and are part of the Stevenage Schools Sports Partnership

Other clubs include: Allotment, Cheerleading, and ICT

Pupils produce wonderful Christmas Performances including a pantomime and a nativity play

Visiting authors and artists work with groups of pupils

Wider Family Learning courses foster parents and pupils learning together in Numeracy and Literacy

The newly formed Ashtree Nature Team (ANT) have revived many of the outdoor learning areas of the school including establishing an allotment and raising money to "Save the Albatross." They have also run a stall at the Christmas Fayre with home made items to raise funds for their work.

Book Week enabled pupils and staff to explore their favourite stories.
