Ashfield Self Catering Holiday Cottages have been awarded a 4 star rating. They are maintained to a high standard, both for comfort and cleanliness and are equipped with all your everyday needs. Ashfield Cottages are surrounded by a wealth of enjoyable things to discover during your holiday in North Yorkshire. The old market town of Pickering is home of the starting point for the North York Moors Railway, which wends its way through the valleys and across the moorland countryside. Spend an exciting day discovering Dalby forest, one of the largest forests in North Yorkshire, which offers you an abundance of activities, from walking, mountain biking or the Go ape centre. Treat the children to a funtastic day at Flamingo Land zoo and theme park. Our holiday cottages are within a 30 minute drive from the famous North Yorkshire heritage coastline, with the holiday seaside resorts of Whitby and Scarborough along with many other quaint bays for you to enjoy.

Visit Castle Howard one of the main historic houses in North Yorkshire used in the making of Brideshead revisited, along with other museums and castles close by, or take an educational trip back in time to Eden Camp modern history museum near Malton, North Yorkshire.

The historic walled city of York, famous for York Minster and many other attractions, can keep you entertained for a full day before returning to the tranquil setting of Ashfield Cottages to plan your next day’s adventure.

    My girlfriend and I booked the one bedroom cottage for a weekend in the summer and we loved it. It is one of the most beautiful holidays I’ve ever had. The cottages have all the self catered facilities you can possibly imagine.

    The cottages are just beautiful. Not to mention the dreamy surroundings. There is a wonderful feeling to this place, so serene and comfortable. Self catering really gives you that freedom of having everything you need in one place.

    The spacious cottages offer a perfect getaway for families. The cottages are self catered and you can be able to cook everything your heart and stomach desires. I will gladly return soon.

    These traditional self catering cottages offer a relaxing setting for your holiday. We booked the number 2 and 3 ones because we went by with some close friends and the children as well. It was an amazing time and we will definitely return. I really wish I can have my holiday sooner.

    Our stay at the Ashfield cottages was a wonderful one. The rooms are spacious, the décor is cute and the self catering facilities offer you everything, first hand. The patio is just beautiful. We will most definitely return.
