We have a full range of services, from puppy and kitten care; vaccinations and neutering, to senior care, and investigation and treatment of illness. We believe in providing comprehensive quality care for your pets, with a personal caring service. Ashfield House's emphasis is prevention is better than cure.

How do you know whether to entrust your pet with one practice compared to another?
We would suggest that personal recommendation is important, but also that a practice meets independent standards. We meet the following criteria:
Hospital status. We are an inspected veterinary hospital which guarantees a high standard. See British Veterinary Hospital Association; Tier 3 RCVS standard. Our governing body, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, classifies practices from tier one to tier three. We are tier 3, the highest standard. Some practices opt not to join this voluntary standards scheme at all. Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons; BSAVA approved standard. This is the British Small Animal Veterinary Association, to which we belong, and attain their approved standard. British Small Animal Veterinary Association.
