Ashcroft Transmissions is a UK based company specialising in the supply of rebuilt manual and automatic gearboxes, transfer cases and differentials to suit Land Rover, Range Rover, Discovery and Freelander 4x4 vehicles.
Rebuilding transmissions is our core business but we also supply other related products such as gearing changes, heavy duty axle components, locking diffs and Defender automatic conversion kits to name a few. We have listed most of our product range but it is impossible to detail everything.
Detailed description:
We aim to dispatch transmissions units usually within 1 -3 working days of any order being placed and many parts can be dispatched for overnight delivery within the UK. We will provide individual carriage quotes for each order. We accept most types of credit and debit cards for easy payment.
We have been trading since 1988 originally as "Automatic Conversions" and have during this time built an excellent reputation, both in the UK and overseas, as the leading supplier of remanufactured gearboxes, transfer cases and differentials for the LandRover marque. We also supply our own design of heavy duty axle parts including CV's, halfshafts, ring and pinions and a variety of other specialist products for the Rover 4 x 4 vehicle.
The Company, owned by Ian and David Ashcroft, offers good, established and proven products at competitive prices. We aim to have most items in stock, which can be dispatched immediately in the UK and overseas. To give some idea of our capacity we now have 25 staff, operate from a 18, 000 sq ft facility and last year we supplied over 5, 000 standard gearboxes and many specialised transmissions worldwide.
