Founded in 1946 with an initial focus on structural engineering, Arup first came to the world’s attention with the structural design of the Sydney Opera House, followed by its work on the Centre Pompidou in Paris. The Solihull office was purpose built in 2001 and hosts over 700 employees. Known as the Arup Campus, the office on Blythe Valley Business Park near Solihull is the result of Arup's commitment to, and investment in, the West Midlands region since 1968.
The award winning office provides an incredibly contemporary and sustainable working environment, ideal for delivering multidisciplinary projects of all sizes. With a wide range of local, national and international projects the office has grown to become the firm's second largest in Europe.
The office has developed strong links to the local business community and regularly hosts leading figures from local and national governments, industry and commerce.
