ADT was established in 1983 and has grown to be one of the leading vocational training providers in Wales. In collaboration with the Welsh Assembly Government we have developed strong and lasting working relationships with small, medium and large employers to provide quality training and assessment towards Pre-Apprenticeship Learning, Foundation Modern Apprenticeships, Modern Apprenticeships and Modern Skills Diplomas for employees in the workplace. Over the years we have built up a strong track record for maximising learner achievements and our apprenticeship attainment levels are among the highest in Wales. Our range of operation extends throughout the principality. We recognise the importance and use of the Welsh Language and support and promote it’s use as appropriate to the communities we serve.

In March 1993 we were the first training provider in Wales to achieve the prestigious Investor in People Award and in February 2008 we achieved it for the sixth consecutive time. ADT Ltd have achieved the prestigious Basic Skills Post-16 Quality mark. We can now provide Basic Skills training to learners throughout Wales which are quality assured by Basic Skills – Cymru. We have achieved the Green Dragon Standard at Level 2. The Green Dragon Standard is a stepped standard recognising effective environmental management. We are the first company in Wales to join the National Skills Academy (NSA) for Food and Drink Manufacturing. The NSA for Food and Drink Manufacturing was established in 2007 in order to raise standards in occupational training within the food and drink industry. We are the first private Work Based Learning Provider in Wales to join the National Skills Academy (NSA) for the Nuclear Industry. The NSA for Nuclear was established in 2008 in order to raise standards in occupational training within the nuclear industry. The National Training Federation is a Wales wide representative body for all those organisations or individuals involved in the training industry. We are proud to be a member and are an active participant within the federation. More people work in Business Administration than in any other occupational area in the UK. Effective administration is vital to the smooth running of any business, large or small. By undertaking a Business Administration qualification(s) at the appropriate level you will develop and strengthen the necessary skills to work efficiently within a business/office environment. Why Business Administration ? Every business needs effective Administration. The skills learnt are transferable to other occupational areas and the prospects for promotion are excellent.
