Short profile:

Our children have an extensive enrichment programme. From Year 1 all pupils swim weekly, and

take recorder lessons and French.  School Trips have taken place to Cambridge, and the residential trip to Aylesbury.   We have many visitors including the RSPB, community police, a soldier, nutrition roadshow, and Skip2Fit workshop. KS2 pupils learn to play Djembe drums. Pupils and parents joined together for the Nativity service, the School production ‘Revolution', Walk Recorder concert, Pantomime, Harvest, Village Fete, Craft and Book fair, Sports' events.  All support fundraising for charities; we have a link to schools in Kenya and Rwanda. Experienced sports and dance trainers run clubs in football, tennis, athletics, golf, netball, tag rugby, cricket, golf and ballet. The whole school takes part in the annual  Whitsun Walk, orienteering events and a team-based sports day.  Other school clubs include ICT, wildlife, singing, and craft. All children participate in Multi-skills and Athletics intra and inter schools competitions; Y2-6 have Tag Rugby Festivals organised by local rugby clubs, and cycling proficiency courses are available for Y4 upwards.
