Detailed description:
The activities that are provided for pupils are varied, challenging and enjoyable. All activities are available to all pupils although some meet specific needs of groups of pupils including G&T or SEN. Activites take place at lunchtime, after school, at weekends and also during the holiday periods.Most subjects contribute to this provision. The range of activites on offer is varied, eg.academic support & booster classes, leadership courses, Aim Higher, educational visits, religious retreats as well as music and sporting opportunities.
The school also provides a range of activites for pupils and parents in its community programme with access to our NOF funded indoor tennis centre as well as a swimming pool, fitness suite, drama & dance studio and sports hall which are available until late evening. Each year there are many overseas and mainland educational trips and visits . This year pupils have been on pilgrimage to Lourdes, a Leisure and tourism visit to Dubai, foreign language trips to France, sports trips within Europe, and a history trip to the Somme this list is by no means exhaustive.Visits to museums, art galleries etc.
