Based on their individual symptoms, a homoeopath will match the most appropriate medicine to each patient. Homoeopathy is based on the principle that you can treat ‘like with like’ i.e. a substance which causes symptoms when taken in large doses, can be used in small amounts to treat those same symptoms.
For example, drinking too much coffee can cause sleeplessness, agitation and even palpitations, but when made into the homoeopathic remedy Coffea it can be used to treat all these problems. You may already have come across this concept in conventional medicine e.g.

We take a detailed case history of past illnesses, operations, medication etc. We test for the individual foods using the Vega EAP system With the test results we individualise a treatment program (usually a 3 month plan). The interpretation of the test is paramount. Foods rarely show up randomly but as food groups, so it’s like putting the pieces of a jigsaw together to build up the whole picture of the individual We test and assess vitamin and mineral levels We give nutritional advice and any supplementation advice that may be indicated.
