The Lakhani group are the experts in the field of Wedding Services. It is a family business that is run by the Lakhani family, it all started with Manubhai Lakhani and his photographic career in Uganda, East Africa. Manubhai Lakhani and his family moved to England in 1972, and naturally he continued his photographic services in Leicester. Since then the family business has gone from strength to strength. The Lakhani Group is famous for its quality service and reliability. From photographing royalty, celebrities, politicians to family portraiture, weddings, corporate events, the business kept on growing!
With a combined experience of over 45 years in the wedding industry, the Lakhani family have now built a company that is able to provide a wide range of services that will enable both families to be sure to have a successful event.
Detailed description:
The Lakhani Group established their business in Leicester intending to provide the people of their hometown with their excellent wedding services. However, word of mouth goes a long way and soon the demand for their services were required at all four corners of the country.

Our mandaps are designed and made with the client in mind! Whether it’s a simple mandap or the most elaborate its what makes you happy that makes us happy. We have a wonderful combination of pillars, backdrops and lighting to create your dream into reality. Many of the designs in this Web brochure are made by our expert craftsmen in India. Our designs are distinctive and modern with a touch of tradition. If its shimmering pearl or embroided silk, whatever your requirements are, we at the Lakhani Group will always please you.
Photography has been the forte of our company, weddings, corporate events, studio portraiture are all catered for. You can even visit our studio in Leicester. Portable lights and backdrops are always available to have studio portraits at your venue. Sharp colour pictures, black & whites, sepia or enlargements, we will take care of all your photographic needs.
Digital technology will give you quality that you deserve for your special day. All our video productions are filmed with digital cameras. You can experience watching your movie on DVD.

KavitaDO NOT USE this awful company. My photos were taken 5 years ago. I have paid in full, and still have not received my photo album and video. I have tried to contact Anit, but he is not answering his phone, and has not been in the shop when i have agreed to meet him. I wish i had never used them, and would strongly urge others not to.

Annoyed customerAwful customer service! Have been married over a year and have not received wedding films or the photo album. Anit doesn't answer his phone, doesn't return calls and is absolutely USELESS! My biggest regret ever is hiring them!

Mr Bhi, I would be grateful if anyone could pass me details of consumer direct that you have been dealing with. me and my wfe got married 2yrs ago...and still nothing no video or story book...and the proof of story book my 2month daughter can do better job....I would be grateful if anyone can assist me in supply details of who you complain to as I will take legal action and sue the pants out of them...i just want the money back now....if anyone who has a problem with lakhani get in touch with me having a group of people against lakhani will be better than one of us against lakani..please email me manraj@diamondmove.co.uk

- mrs j:Its now called citizens advice consumer helpline. The number is 08454040506. Report it to them and your information will be passed on to Leicester trading standards who should get in touch. Unfortunately suing won't get you anywhere. They have numerous CCJDs against them which they haven't paid. You would have booked them under Lakhani Brothers LTD which is in liquidation. They are now trading under Lakhani Events LTD and the new company hasn't taken on the liabilities of the old company.

mrs jWe got married 18 months ago and still haven't received our wedding DVDs. Trading standards are investigating them but believe things have improved because the complaints are slowing down. If you're having problems with them please report them to Consumer Direct and keep them updated.

SimmyNo sign of wedding video or photos 6 months after the wedding. They are good at selling but not good at delivering. They have started avoiding phone calls and have new excuses everytime we do manage to contact them.

MRS MCI got married in July 2010, i'm still waiting for my storybook album and DVD. After numerous phone calls/visits Anit said i'd have everything by xmas 2011. Surprise surprise - I'm still waiting. i'm constantly ringing up, Anit is never in the office, call his mobile, he doesn't pick that up either. I don't understand what he spends his time doing?! Surely he's has long enough to sort himself out now??

- MR P: I got married in 2009, and stilll havent got anything, the video guy is the biggest b*** i have meet, he won't deal with us, A. and S. always seem to be home, and his staff regualrly take it in turns to be on stirke!!! Everything was approved early last year, i was promised a delivery date and no one came. ITS SAD TO SAY, but the staff admit the two brothers do this regularly and most people give up and they pocket the money!!! ITS A absolute disgrace, that they can never call the clients back or answer them where their paid products are!! the sad thing is they drive bentleys and can't afford to pay people refunds or the binding people to release peoples photos.
