Cutting and Slitting

If you require pads or strips, Anglo can slit and cross-cut all of our own materials as well as a huge variety of other textiles that you can supply or that we can source for you.

Cutting and Pressing

For more unusual or irregular shapes, Anglo can use custom made tools to cut parts and shapes to your exact requirements. Use of both low-volume and high-volume presses means that we can economically handle short as well as long runs.

Applications include washers, gaskets and automotive parts.

Textile Finishing

Singeing and heat-sealing can produce the required finish for our own materials or for the treatment of materials you supply.

Coating

Single-sided, double-sided and full impregnation coatings can be applied to all our own products as well as to materials supplied by or sourced for you.

Common treatments include application of flame retardant and anti-abrasion layers.

Our Engineering Felt division makes washers, gaskets, strips and seals. We can adhesive back materials and even if we can't solve your problem we will try and point you in the right direction. If you need sound insulation material, you are looking for a flame retardant felt or your needs are for water absorbents then come to us. We can use our modern laboratory facilities to test to ensure we meet the BS/ISO standard you require. (We are ISO 9001:2000 approved.)
