Building Work: Our building service aims to provide you with guidance and help to carry out repairs, improvements or any adaptations to your property. Examples include level access showers, stairlifts and extensions.Our comprehensive service assists you throughout the whole process. We will visit you in your home to discuss your needs and help you find the right solution, including information on ways to pay for the work. If you decide to proceed, we will arrange for drawings and schedules of work to be drawn up, obtain competitive quotes from tradesmen on our preferred contractors’ list and oversee the building work. We will monitor the work and when the job is finished we will inspect the site to ensure it has been completed satisfactorily.Home Maintenance: It’s often difficult and expensive to find someone to help with smaller jobs and basic maintenance around the home, such as fixing a tap or hanging a curtain rail.Our handyman service can assist you to carry out small routine jobs that you may be unable to do yourself.

These include: minor plumbing and joinery; door and window replacements; installing grab rails, locks and security chains and changing a light bulb, a plug or fuse.There is a charge for the service which is often subsidised by your local authority. You will have to cover the cost of materials. This will always be explained to you in advance. Our handymen are unable to do gas repairs or major electric work.
