Detailed description:

Buddhist Meditation is used to calm the body and mind, ultimately in order to investigate your inner process, gaining insight into the deep discontent we feel. This discontentment the Buddha said was due to our tendency to push away unpleasant experiences and grab onto pleasant experiences. This swinging between these two extremes of pushing away and grasping is what leads to our fundamental discontent because this can never actually achieve. Instead through meditation we can really see what is happening in ourselves, we can embrace this discontent and work with the causes, and through this meditation process the discontent will eventually begin to diminish.

Anantacitta does not charge his students, but if you wish to make a small donation to towards the cost of room hire, you are welcome to do so. Meditation helps reduce stress and increase well-being. This course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience.

5 week course.
