Short profile:
Amberley aims to provide a curriculum that has a strong creative element designed to motivate and engage all children. The school provides opportunities for all children to build and pursue talents, skills and interests.
In conjunction with classroom learning children are offered a wide variety of curriculum linked visits. In years 4 and 5 they are given the chance to partake in residential trips which in 2008 was to the Isle of Wight.
A major highlight of each year is the Arts Week, which focuses of different themes each year, when various forms of creativity are participated in. Recent themes have been China and the most recent food. An array of out side leaders and helpers assist to make these weeks so successful.
The school continues to run a variety of theme days and curricular activities linked to the children’s learning.
